BIRGEN Seminar on Women in Reindeer Husbandry Great Success |

 The (provocatively titled) seminar "Lea go boazoealáhusas dárbu nissonolbmuide?" (Is there a need for women in reindeer husbandry?) organised by the BIRGEN project and the Women's Reindeer Husbandry Network was held in Alta, Norway between the 5-7 March. With nearly 100 participants the seminar was a great success. The BIRGEN project is coordinated by International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry employee Karen Inga Kemi who will be reporting on the seminar in full detail on the BIRGEN website, here on the Reindeer Portal.
