The Director of the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry, Anders Oskal was interviewed last week, by Deutschland Radio about the EALÁT project and its cooperation with the European Space Agency and the Polarview programme.
Oskal outlined the importance of snow and pastures to reindeer and reindeer herders and outlined ways in which these technologies may be able to assist herders in the future, in times of future climate uncertainty.
