The 8th session United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues continues this week, though the vast majority of delegates have gone home, including the representatives of the Association of World Reindeer Herders and the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry. The Reindeer Portal is carrying an interview with Mikhail Pogodaev, the Chair of WRH on how the week long meeting at the UN was, what was achieved during the meeting and how will WRH follow it up.
