Al Gore with Saami Council representative Gunn Britt Retter) Today the EALÁT report to the Arctic Council Sustainable Development Working Group entitled 'EALÁT: Reindeer Herders Voice -Reindeer Herding, Traditional Knowledge and Adaptation to climate Change and Loss of Grazing Land' was delivered to the Senior Arctic Officials meeting of the Arctic Council today (April 29), on the eve of the Arctic Council Ministerial meeting in Tromsø. Foto: Anita Arntzen Norwegian Minister for Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre was on hand for the meeting and the EALÁT book was reported in his speech to the opening of the meeting.
