ICR Attends NBR/ NRL Annual Meeting

The International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry is attending the NBR / NRL (the Reindeer Herders Association of Norway) annual general meeting in the North Norwegian coastal village of Honnigsvag on Friday and Saturday (11-12 June). Several items will be on the agenda, which is the largest annual gathering of reindeer herders in Norway. Primary issues will relate to the annual Reindeer Husbandry Agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and the issue of predation. This year the meeting is being organised by the Karasjok Migratory Reindeer Herders Assocation. Elna Sara and Rávdná Biret Márjá Eira will be representing the Centre. Photos and more to follow.
