While in Moscow last week (Feb 21), Anders Oskal (International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry Director), Johan Mathis Turi (Association of World Reindeer Herders General Secretary), Risten Eira (student and participant in the EALAT CEAVVI project) and Philip Burgess (ICR employee) took the time to visit Knut Hauge, the new Norwegian Ambassador to Russia at the elegant Norwegian embassy in the heart of Moscow.

ICR and WRH were en route to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for the second EALAT Information workshop in  the Evenki village of Khatystyr in the region of Aldan. Oskal and Turi took the opportunity to inform Hauge about the work of ICR and WRH, the upcoming EALAT workshop in Sakha (Yakutia) and the World Reindeer Herders Congress which will be held at the end of March  in Kautokeino - Guovdageaidnu.
