Adaptation to Globalisation in the Arctic - Course Gets Underway |

The UArctic online course organised by the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry in collaboration with multiple partners gets underway Monday, January 10, 2011. Response to the course has been very positive with over 30 students already signed up, from Russia, Norway, Finland, Sweden and the USA. This course is part of the UArctic Thematic Networks and features contributions from numerous field leading experts such as Dr. Robert Corell, Dr. Svein Mathiesen, Dr. Bruce Forbes, Dr Grete Hovelsrud Broderstad, Dr Carina Keskitalo, Dr Erik Reinert, Dr. Mikhail Pogodaev, Dr Mattias Ahren to name but a few. The entire course is online and much of the content is an outgrowth of the IPY EALAT project.
The course coordinator is Philip Burgess and the Academic Lead is Dr. Svein Mathiesen.
