The seminar, "Reindeer husbandry as a resource for the society: Present contribution and future possibilities" is being organized in Uppsala, Sweden December 3-4, 2012 by the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Reindeer Husbandry is a model for resource management and local food production. At the seminar, research, on-going activities and success stories will be presented and discussed with a focus towards the future. It promises to be a very interesting and thought provoking discussion. Time Mon. December 3, 1.00-5.00 pm followed by dinner and Tue. December 4, 9.00-12.00 am.
