The International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry has moved its offices in Kautokeino / Guovdagteaidnu into the impressive new Diehtosiida building which houses the Sami University College as well a number of of other Sami institutions inclusing GALDU, the Sami Archive and offices of the Sami Parliament.
The building is not entirely completed but boasts a very high level of technological equipment, meeting rooms and a large conference hall. Doubtless the building will become a magnet for future activities in the Sami area in general and Kautokeino in particular.
