Tromso: Enormous Activity for ICR, WRH & EALAT |

Next week (October 19-24) will see an enormous amount of activity in Tromso. First off is the Arctic Indigenous Languages seminar in which several EALAT researchers will be participating as will the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry. this will be webcast by ICR on the Arctic Portal. This will be followed by the VACCA - Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Arctic (October 22-23) seminar at which EALAT and EALAT Information will be presented. This is followed by the Arctic Council Sustainable Development Working Group meeting at the end of the week where an EALAT Information progress report will be presented by Anders Oskal.
At the same time, the Forum Conference 2008 organised by the Sami Centre at the University of Tromso is being held, entitled "Indigenous Peoples, Natural Environments and Climate changes". Anders Oskal, Ole Henrik Magga, Svein Mathiesen, Inger Marie Gaup Eira, Anne Maria Magga, Ole Isak Eira and Philip Burgess are among the participants.
